A very talented innovative group of scientists and engineers working in the Research and Technology Group (RTG), Product Application & Research Centre (PARC) and Material Engineering Center (MEC) for various polymeric catalysts, development of new grades and applications, providing technical services, benchmarking, design thinking, adopting six sigma methodologies.

The Teams mainly focuses on:

• New products, processes, and catalyst development to support existing business and create breakthrough technologies for new businesses
• Advanced troubleshooting and support to capital projects, and profit and reliability improvements in manufacturing plant
• Sustainability and recycling of Polymers

R&D facilities for Polymer research are equipped with advanced infrastructures for polymeric products, catalysts, and process developments.

State-of- the- art Polymer laboratories are equipped with various scales of polymerization reactors starting from 100ml to 5 lit batch scale autoclaves. To scale up various polymers from batch to continuous scale, RTG also has few pilot scale reactors upto 25 kg/hr polymer productions.

We have accomplished around ~200 patents in India and abroad and multiple national and international awards for inhouse developments. Around 18 inhouse technologies commercialized in Reliance Polymer plants in last few years.
